Hip, Hip Hooray…for Holiday Help!

Last night I was out with my family to celebrate the start to my son’s wrestling journey. My children were talking excitedly about getting 3 days off next week for Thanksgiving. I argued that they were mistaken. I told them that Thanksgiving could not possibly be next week! I pulled out my phone to check my calendar and lo and behold my husband’s favorite holiday was a mere week away.

The Holiday Season is apparently upon us all, friends! Fostering Love Project is busy working with social workers in Washington County to help children in need. Most of the children that we help are in foster care, or have recently been reunited with caregivers that are not financially able to provide gifts. We’re getting children’s wish lists and checking them twice! Then we’re getting the community involved, because…The More, The Merrier! Community members can sponsor children and provide some cheer this Holiday Season!

Last year, alongside the community, we helped more than 200 individuals (imagine 7 school classrooms full of happier children, or one class for each grade Kindergarten through 6th) with a little more Merry and Bright to their Holiday season!

If you are interested in helping a child in need this Holiday Season, please take a look at our Sign-Up Genius and sponsor some cheer!
