After graduating from BYU in business management with an emphasis in marketing, he opened a Rove Pest Control branch with partners Lenny Gray and McKay Bodily in Minnesota. Rob guided the operational development of Rove Pest Control from one branch to 5 focusing on team member personal development, public health awareness, and guiding company service offerings to align with individual and community needs. He has developed a company culture of giving first. This mentality to growth is built on the principles of Education, Preparation, Investigation, and Completion.

The last few years have included climbing Devil’s Tower, Grand Teton, and crags ranging from the cliffs along Lake Superior to the red sand towers of Sedona. Each year Rob sets out on a weeklong, self-supported journey running across a state with only what he can carry in his running pack as a reminder that if he lost everything tomorrow, life would still go on. Each adventure highlights the natural inclination toward help that exists in random people along the path.

Rob has a wife and three kids and serves as president of the Minnesota Pest Management Association Board.  He also serves on the board of the charity non-profit organization Fostering Love Project supporting children entering foster care as well as the families that care for them.

Rob enjoys teaching and coaching. He coaches the girls’ cross-country team at Stillwater High School, and personally coaches people for running, career development, and business development. He also serves as a youth leader and mentor in conjunction with church and community programs.
